This information session is organised by Citizens Advice Liverpool who are delivering the Hong Kong Welcome Programe in the Liverpool City Region.
In this session for people who have recently moved from Hong Kong to our region, we will be outlining the rights and responsibilities attached to the BN(O) visa and some general information and then focussing in more detail on the topic of education.
We will be joined by Lisa Donovan from the school admissions team at the local education authority of Liverpool City Council who will give information about school admissions for those aged under 16..
We hope to also discuss further and higher education provision for those who wish to gain professional qualifications or go to university.
We can also arrange 1-to-1 support appointments to go in detail over:

- make sure you know exactly what you have to do in the future in terms of your immigration status.
- how to recognise and report hate crime
